Your information

A considered approach to privacy.

Here is how information is handled when you browse this website or discuss a project with VariState.

Browsing the website

We use Vercel Web Analytics on our live website to understand aggregate page views and audience information, such as browser, device type and approximate location. It does not use cookies. We remove query strings and fragments from page URLs sent to analytics.

When an enquiry is successfully sent, we record its selected industry and project type to understand the kinds of projects visitors are interested in. We do not send your name, email address, company name or project brief to analytics. Read more about Vercel Web Analytics and privacy.

Fonts and imagery are served as part of the website. The hosting provider may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the site.

Project enquiries

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, company, category, project type and project description. This information is used to review your enquiry and discuss the work with you. Please avoid including confidential or sensitive information in an initial brief.

Form submissions are processed on our Vercel-hosted server and sent to our contact mailbox through Google Workspace. We use these services to receive your enquiry and respond by email.

If online enquiries are unavailable, the form tells you explicitly and does not report a successful submission. Downloading your brief creates a file on your own device; it does not send that file to VariState.

Configuration previews

Your material selections are held in the current page. A shared configuration link contains the selected material, base and stitching options in its URL. Configuration downloads are created in your browser and saved to your device.
